Frequently
Asked Questions about Vol. 3.
Is Vol. 3 helpful to anyone working with a pregnant women or just
chiropractors?
Helpful yes, but not cost effective. This workshop was being taught
to chiropractors only and therefore uses the terminology and techniques
specific to chiropractors that adjust full body and incorporate
craniosacral/myofascial therapy. Therefore, it will only be sold
to chiropractors and chiropractic students. Additional videos will
be created for other healers who do not have the advantage of performing
adjustments.
Does this protocol include the techniques taught in Step #4 of
the book Hands of Love?
Yes. A chiropractor that works with pregnant women must also be
an educator. Since we are rarely able to be with the family throughout
labor and delivery, we need to be able teach the birthing team simple
non-adjusting techniques that will help resolve back labor, dystocia
(labor that has arrested), or an asynclitic position (crowning with
the sagittal suture off centered). The workshop participants learn
not only how to perform the techniques but how to teach them to
birth attendants, doulas and husbands.
Does this protocol include the myofascial techniques taught in
Vol. 2?
Yes. To achieve structural balance within a pregnant woman’s
entire body you must also correct any muscular imbalances within
the extremities, rib cage, spinal cord and cranium.
Is this protocol designed only for use with pregnant women?
No. With the exception of fetal palpation, this protocol can be
utilized with any patient that presents with a history of chronic
pain, a persistent subluxation pattern or a torsional injury. |
